Production of the Stoves Colour Boutique collection will cease from
Colour Boutique was introduced alongside the standard Richmond colours of Black or Champagne (cream) as a special-order option, and actually followed on from an earlier range of colours, the “Flavours” collection. Colour Boutique was introduced to offer something a little different from the run-of-the-mill, whether you are looking for the crisp simplicity of Icy Brook (white), the natural classiness of Soho Green, or the frankly insane pinkness of Floral Burst. Of the eight colours the one people love most, by a long way, is Jalapeño red, followed by the fruity richness of Wild Berry and the elegant Wedgewoodiness of Day’s Break.
The Stoves Richmond continues to be a great success for Stoves, and is the perfect blend of traditional Aga-like character and modern chic, giving it a broad appeal and allowing it to look perfect in a whole spectrum of kitchen settings, from country cottage to contemporary apartment. Available in 90, 100 and 110cm widths (plus a cheeky 55cm version), you also have the choice of dual fuel, gas or electric models, which feature an induction hob with touch controls. The Richmond does so well because it is a lovely-looking, solid-feeling range which is bristling with features and manages to outshine its direct competitors by doing all this at a comfortably lower price with no compromise on quality. By adding value in the form of a grill cavity that doubles as a handy oven, giving you a slow cook oven instead of a storage area, adding telescopic shelf runners, Stoves have gone the extra mile. Quite an act, and in ticking all these boxes the Stoves Richmond has stolen a good few orders away from its arch rival Rangemaster, and found a happy home in the heart of many UK kitchens.
