Team Rangecookers Take on the Three Peaks Challenge

Never ones to shy away from a lofty challenge, the team here at Rangecookers.co.uk are undertaking the National Three Peaks in aid of three worthy charities. Marketing manager Carl and finance director Fin will team up with Rangecookers' PR and Social Media team - Nikki and Kate - and brave the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales respectively on June 11th and 12th.
Our team will climb over 10,000 feet and walk over 26 miles in the 24 hour period (if all goes to plan, of course). Each of the three peaks will be dedicated to a different charity - Ben Nevis dedicated to Claire House Hospice, Scafell Pike dedicated to the West Cheshire Food Bank and Snowdon to the North West Air Ambulance Service. Training is well underway, with Scafell Pike completed in February and an ascent and descent of Snowdon completed in three hours and twenty two minutes last week. Where there was once cake taking pride of place in the Rangecookers.co.uk studio kitchen now sits a well stocked fruit bowl.
Carl commented "… our preparations are underway and the team is already training hard. I’m confident that with a copious supply of Jaffa Cakes and a vague idea where we’re heading, we’ll be fine.
“Seriously though, we are incredibly proud to be supporting not one but three fantastic charities who need our support to continue their great work – The North West Air Ambulance Service and The West Cheshire Food Bank both provide a vital service to the local community and Claire House Hospice provides all year round support to hundreds of families whose children won’t live to be adults.”
