Rangecookers Ethos Collection - Rare Quality at a Lower Price

As range cookers go, the Ethos collection from Rangecookers certainly catches the attention. Clearly a quality offering, the unusually refined looks and, on closer inspection, very solid and professional feel, have already convinced many discerning cooks that the Ethos is the cooker for them. Great news, then, as these stunningly good range cookers are now more affordable than ever before.

Lovingly Created for Serious Cooking

Available in 90cm single cavity or 100 and 120cm double cavity dual fuel formats, every Rangecookers Ethos cooker is built by a dedicated and passionate engineering team in the heart of northern Italy, by the sort of small family firm where attention to detail really does matter, and where they have been building great appliances for three generations. The cookers that leave this factory are built to last using the best materials and impressive engineering know-how, and consequently they look and perform wonderfully well for their lucky eventual owners.

Rangecookers Ethos Pricing

Beautifully detailed and impressively built, an Ethos range is everything you have dreamed of. A custom colour service is also available.

Ethos 100

Undoubtedly the most popular model is the Ethos 100, which is now available for
, which offers a six burner gas hob with 9 function 61 litre main oven and 31 litre 5 function second oven with rotisserie. Triple glazed doors provide quiet and energy efficient performance (all Ethos ovens are A-rated), and remarkably even cooking. A full width glide-out storage drawer give you plenty of space for trays and trivets. The control panel is formed from the same sheet of thick stainless steel as the hotplate, leaving no troublesome and messy seams, and is home to the rather satisfyingly solid and chunky control knobs, which invite the hand and respond with a smooth action reminiscent of good quality hi-fi equipment. On the hotplate sit three nicely shaped cast iron pan supports, with six gas burners which include a high-power wok burner and a long burner useful for larger pans or the occasional fish kettle.

Ethos 120

The Ethos 120 Deluxe expands the format to include a very generous 78 litre main oven with rotisserie, and on top there is an additional Chef-zone - a cast iron griddle which sits on two ceramic cooking zones which can be utilised as additional rings when required. This griddle area is an incredibly useful extra, and will cope with full breakfasts, steaks, fish, omelettes, french toast and drop scones, or is very handy as a standing surface even when not used for cooking. You can choose a ribbed or flat griddle to suit your needs, or even order both. A striking presence in the kitchen, this impressive cooking machine is everything a serious cook could want, and is now available for an even more impressive
- extremely reasonable for the kind of quality it is very hard to find.

Ethos Hotplate

Ethos 90

The baby of the family is the Ethos 90, which uses the same 78 litre oven as the 120 and exactly the same hotplate layout as the 100 model, and at a mere
is well worth considering against its competitors from the likes of Bertazzoni, ILVE and Falcon. Many people prefer the simplicity and capacity of a single oven cavity, and the credentials offered by the Rangecookers Ethos 90 are hard to beat.

Quality and integrity are increasingly hard to find in a world where built-in obsolescence is sadly on the rise. It is good to know that the Rangecookers Ethos comes from a different place, and appliances like these are most definitely worth paying for if you are looking for a range cooker to not only look fantastic in your kitchen but to give you a warm sense of confidence every time you use it to boil an egg or impress your friends and family with something more ambitious. At these revised prices, the Ethos is surely hard to resist.
