Cooking with Kids Winner Announced!

For the last six weeks Rangecookers.co.uk has been running a competition via Facebook, encouraging people to get their kids involved in cooking. Entrants were asked to post a blog article showing all the fun, the recipe and the finished article, and the winning entry would win a superb prize - a Rangecookers Select 90 range cooker!
The entries were excellent, and we have not envied our independant judges’ task of picking a winner, but they have chosen an entry from Lynn Fancy and her talented 11 year old son Evan - who took on a full Mothers Day roast dinner AND a double fudge cake - impressive. See the yummy cake here:
It seems Evan took the whole day very seriously, and even insisted on shopping for all the ingredients himself. Bringing a roast dinner and a fudge cake together is challenging enough for some adults, but at 11 years old we think Evan has done his mum very proud, and is a deserved winner of a brand new Select 90 range cooker - we are sure he will do it justice!

It was most enjoyable seeing all the entries come in, and we hope everyone involved had lots of fun along the way…
