Belling have announce that they will be launching gas versions of their popular 90cm range cookers at the end of September 2014. The new Belling Classic 90GT, DB4 90GT and DB4 90GT Professional will receive a warm welcome from loyal Belling fans who love the compact 90cm format and who prefer to cook using gas.

Cookability - the Beauty of Gas

Baking and roasting using gas is evidently rather different to using electric elements, and many people prefer or have grown accustomed to the results the moister heat produces. Up to now Belling have only offered duel fuel or all electric versions of their 90cm ranges, as the demand for gas cookers is significantly lower, but they are clearly keen to cater for this nonetheless important minority. Belling is one of Britain’s favourite brands, after all.

Capable Specification

The new 90cm gas cookers all share the same specification, with five burner gas hobs, cast iron pan supports, variable gas grill, programmable (time-to-off) gas main oven and fanned electric second oven. The tall second oven is great for batch baking - a fanned electric format is the only way to spread the heat around this copious cavity - but despite this, the whole cooker still only needs a 13 amp electrical supply. Naturally, Belling also offer a choice of matching hoods and splashback to make the look complete.
