The ultra-modern Sterling 900Ei is a great choice for the Brompton Cookery School

A Sterling Choice

The school is led by TV chef Marcus bean (This Morning, Iron Chef), and his wife Jenny, and is based at a National Trust property near Shrewsbury. Their large, custom-built kitchen/classroom caters for 16 budding chefs at a time, and is popular with both adults and children. The school’s cooking appliances are worked hard, and the original cookers were replaced with nine Stoves Sterling 900Ei range cookers in a stainless steel finish. This compact all electric model was chosen by the cookery school team as it provides plenty of cooking capacity, and the induction hob is not only beautifully easy to keep clean, it provides safer, faster and more energy-efficient cooking power with amazing controllability.

Marcus Bean commented: “We’re delighted to use Stoves ovens in the cookery school as they provide all the space and features we need for our classes, and the induction hobs are safer, cleaner and more energy efficient.

“It was also important to us that the appliances are made in the UK. We’re firm believers in using local producers and seasonal ingredients. So it’s great that we have been able to continue this ethos with our cooking appliances too.”

Jane Rylands, Stoves head of marketing communications, added: “The classes that Marcus and the team at Brompton Cookery School provide help would-be chefs and home cooks really make a statement in the kitchen, and that is also something our appliances are aimed at helping people to do.

“We’re really proud of our heritage and made-in-Britain credentials so partnering with a School that has such a great focus on using locally sourced ingredients to create show-stopping meals is perfect for us too.”
